Mr. Goh Yew Cheong Desmond, a candidate of Achieve Group, has been mentioned by PM Lee Hsien Loong on National Day Rally Speech 2016 on 21 August 2016!

Mr. Goh had been working with a construction company but he was retrenched due to the business downturn. To support his family, Mr. Goh took up the vocation as a personal chauffeur for 5 years. Yet early last year, Mr. Goh’s employer left Singapore, and once again he was unemployed.

It was not a smooth journey for Mr. Goh to find a job and it took him a year before he found a job through Achieve Group.

Providence doesn’t let down a man who does his best! Mr. Goh, age 54, saw our advertisement on Facebook and contacted one of our consulting manager for some career consultation.

After being invited down to our office to attend a job briefing and undergoing extensive assessment for the role as an associate heart valve specialist with our client, who is the world leader in the heart valve industry, Mr. Goh was eventually appointed as a trained full-time staff with our client!
