Public Apology Letter for Discriminatory Job Advertisement

To All Singaporeans,

 

Achieve Career Consultant Pte Ltd hereby apologizes to all Singaporeans for the unintentional error of posting a discriminatory job advertisement on this website JobStreet dated 17/03/2019.

 

Retail Sales Executive (position) – “Salary up to RM15000 or higher”, Interview: Mid Valley” and “Minimum “SPM” Levels” (discriminatory words/phrases).

 

Corrections were made immediately on realizing the errors in the advertisement.

 

Measures have been implemented by the company to ensure that such discriminatory job advertisements will not be posted again.

 

Staff responsible for posting the discriminatory job advertisement have been reprimanded and all staff involved in posting of job advertisements have been counselled on the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices.

 

Achieve Career Consultant Pte Ltd gives our assurance that the posting of discriminatory job advertisements will not happen again.
